This Queen Anne pendant is an exquisite treasure from the Georgian era, made circa 1720! The pendant is crafted from Sterling Silver and formed into a striking floral cluster, inlaid with fiery flat-cut Garnets.

Each Garnet has a gorgeous glow and shimmers with seductive flashes of crimson, with smoothly domed backs providing comfortable wear. This Georgian flat-cut Garnet will make a coveted addition to your collection!

ERA: Georgian, c.1720.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 29mm long inc. jump ring.
Pendant itself is 23mm in diameter.
Central Garnet is 6mm in diameter.
Outer Garnets are 2mm in diameter.
Weight: 2.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, 15ct Gold jump ring, Flat-Cut Garnet.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

状態

VERY GOOD: The Garnets are all present and securely set, with crisp facets, and have stood the test of time remarkably well. The central Garnet does have a hairline crack, visible under close inspection, but it remains secure within its setting. There is evidence of a conversion on the back, from where it likely used to be part of a larger suite of jewellery, though this is not visible from the front. Complete with a soldered 9ct Gold jump ring, you can wear this early 18th-century pendant with utmost confidence!
