This show-stopping antique necklace displays an array of gorgeous fiery orange-pink Paste gemstones, reminiscent of a warm summer sunset. The way her Paste gemstones have been formed is reminiscent of the much coveted 'Oil and Vinegar' technique - we love the way her vibrant stones flicker under the light, like glowing embers.

Each stone is encased within a pretty Pinchbeck setting, a highly collectible metal that was first created as a more affordable alternative to Gold during the 18th Century. Wonderfully emulating the appearance of high carat Gold, Pinchbeck is incredibly rare and sought after for its brilliance! Steeped in history, you will never find a necklace as exquisite as this beauty.

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 15 & 1/2" or 40cm long.
Paste Stones are 13mm long x 10mm wide.
Weight: 37.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Pinchbeck, Paste.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD. This Georgian Pinchbeck Pink Paste collar necklace is in very good condition. Her Paste gemstones are tantalising and although there is some variation between the stones and some air bubbles that have occurred during creation, this adds to the desirable "Oil and Vinegar"-esque effect which contributes to her antique charm. Her Pinchbeck settings have also kept well. There is some minor wear to note throughout, but this is commensurate with an item of her age. All and all, this Georgian necklace is a historical delight, steeped in history and at a grand age of over 200 years, what's not to adore?!
