A delicate Georgian treasure, this 9ct Gold pendant centres on a long rectangular Imperial Topaz glowing with warm peachy-orange hues. The stone is framed by a refined halo of creamy Seed Pearls, the whole composition brought together with a hand-finished serrated collet and fine milgrain detailing for that sought-after period charm.

A closed-back setting and slim, soldered bail complete the silhouette, lending an elegant portrait-style feel that sits beautifully on the neckline. Romantic, refined and timeless, it’s a captivating play of colour and texture in genuine antique Gold, Topaz and Pearl.

Item Details

ERA: Georgian (1714–1837).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 25mm long including jump ring x 12.5mm wide.
Topaz measures 13.5mm x 7mm x 4mm deep, approximately 6.71ct.
Seed Pearls measure 2mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 3.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Topaz (6.71ct), Pearl.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Topaz is bright with only light surface abrasions and tiny facet nicks visible under magnification. The Seed Pearls are well-matched with gentle age-related toning and minor surface blemishes; the collet and halo settings are secure with a pleasing antique patina. Evidence of a previous conversion on the back. Faint dark residue to the bail and in recesses is consistent with age and past hand-finishing.
