A beautifully sentimental Georgian heart locket, crafted in warm 9ct Gold and fronted by a high-domed glazed compartment. Beneath the clear cover lies finely arranged blond hairwork, crowned by a delicate white Aeed Pearl script monogram reading “HH” — a romantic keepsake with timeless charm.

The heart is framed by a smooth, polished Gold bezel with a plain back, and is fitted with a fixed hasp and round jump ring for effortless wear on your favourite chain. Elegant, intimate and steeped in history, it’s a quintessential Georgian jewel that wears with grace today.

ERA: Georgian, c.1800.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 27mm long including jump ring.
Pendant is 24mm wide.
WEIGHT: 5.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Pearls, Hair (can be easily removed on request).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Seed Pearl monogram and hairwork are well preserved and neatly presented under the glazed cover. The Gold surfaces are bright with only light age-appropriate surface wear, and the back remains smooth and well cared for. The fittings are secure with no obvious signs of repair or alteration.
