A magnificent Georgian pendant in 9ct Gold, adorned with rich red Flat-Cut Garnets and creamy natural Pearls. The deep crimson tones of the Garnets glow beautifully against the antique gold, their flat-cut facets and foiled backs displaying that unmistakable Georgian shimmer.

The central cabochon Garnet adds depth and dimension, surrounded by a halo of smaller Garnets and Pearls in a classic openwork design. Likely converted from a larger Georgian jewel, this pendant retains all the charm and craftsmanship of its era, now reimagined as a striking standalone piece.

ERA: Georgian (1714–1837).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 33.5mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 28mm long x 25.5mm wide.
Flat-Cut Garnets are 6mm long x 4mm wide.
Central Garnet cabochon measures 9mm long x 5mm wide x 3mm deep.
Pearls measure 1.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 5.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Garnet, Pearl.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

状態

EXCELLENT: The Garnets and Pearls are in beautiful condition with no notable wear. The Gold retains a soft antique patina. There is some evidence of historic conversion on the back, sensitively done and stable.
