ERA: Georgian, c.1820.

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 15 & 1/2" or 39.5cm long.
Garnets graduate from 7.5mm wide to 10.5mm wide.
Total Garnet weighing is approx. 21.00ct.
Weight: 19.4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Flat-cut Garnets (21.00ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: It is rare to find a Georgian necklace in such fabulous condition. The backs are pristine, with no dings or dents - and this is definitely unusual for such an old necklace. One of the smallest Garnets has a little chip (right around the back of the necklace), but the rest are all pristine. The clasp is in perfect working order, and has a safety chain for your peace of mind.
