ERA: Georgian, c.1820.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 28.5mm long inc. jump ring.
Pendant is 16mm wide.
Garnets are 4mm in diameter.
Weight: 2.7g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Foiled Flat-Cut Garnet, Woven Hair.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: This Georgian 9ct Gold flat-cut Garnet mourning pendant is in very good condition. The woven hair has been immaculately preserved, with a striking pattern that highlights the skilled craftsmanship of the piece. The Garnets are bright, with a couple showing surface wear, although this is only noticeable under close inspection. There is some general age-related wear to the settings, but the gemstones remain securely set. The back of the pendant is smooth and glossy, so you can comfortably wear this splendid piece of Georgian jewellery!
