This Georgian 9ct Gold faceted carnelian locket is such an interesting piece! Made circa 1820, this Georgian locket has a glass centre framed by 9ct Gold, and is hugged by a faceted Carnelian border that gives her a unique flare.

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 51.5mm long inc. bale.
Locket itself is 37mm in diameter.
Locket compartment is 22mm in diameter.
Weight: 14g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Carnelian.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT. This Georgian 9ct Gold faceted Carnelian locket is in excellent condition. The Carnelian has been beautifully faceted and is free from any signs of wear. The locket has retained both glass panels, and the door opens to allow for the lucky owner to place photos, flowers, or gems inside! The bale has some minor discolouration but it has remained sturdy and will securely suspend from a chain of choice. This unique Georgian locket will make a coveted addition to your collection!
