GOOD-VERY GOOD. This Georgian 8ct Gold flat-cut Garnet ring is in great antique condition. The large flat-cut Garnet has a delicious dark red hue that is perfectly complemented by the buttery Gold. The Garnet does have some surface wear, but given her grand age, this is to be expected and the facets still catch the light beautifully. The 8ct Gold has a lovely pale yellow tone with only one resize mark on the back of the band and some solder marks at the shoulders, these are only noticeable under close inspection and do not affect the integrity of the piece. The collet setting has worn slightly but the piecrust details are still visible and hold the Garnet securely in place. This Georgian ring has plenty of wear left in her and will make a sublime addition to your collection!
