This Georgian 9ct Gold Amethyst Jet mourning ring is simply exquisite. Crafted from 9ct Gold, this ring is almost 200 years old and remains in wonderful condition! The front of the ring features a smooth cabochon-cut Moonstone, adorned by glinting Jet gemstones.

The beauty of this Georgian ring lies in the inscription on the reverse of the gemstone setting, which reads: John Wetton, Ob Oct 13, 1829, aged 38, a beautiful memento. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of mourning jewellery no one else will have in their collection!

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: Given the impressive age of the ring, it has been wonderfully preserved. The Gold is buttery and the band is smooth, providing a comfortable fit. The gemstones are all present and secure, with only mild surface abrasions on the Jet, commensurate with age. The ring has very minimal signs of wear throughout, making this a prime pick for your collection.
