MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 23mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 18mm long x 20mm wide.
Amethyst measures 9mm long 12mm wide, weighing approx. 3.20ct.
Pearls measure 3mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 4.7g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Amethyst (3.20ct), Pearls.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD: Circa 1820, this beautiful Georgian 18ct Gold Foiled Amethyst Pearl Pendant Amethyst in beautiful condition! Free from any chips or scratches, the Amethyst has an intense plum and violet hue- only intensified with 19th Century Georgian foiling, completely intact! The Pearls are clean and well-matched with great lustre after 2 centuries! The Gold shows light age-related wear, and there are two patches to the reverse where a brooch pin was once attached; these are discreet and not visible from the front when worn.
