A luminous Georgian treasure in rich 15ct Gold, this convertible pendant-brooch is haloed by bright Turquoise cabochons and crowned with a petite Diamond at the heart of a delicate floral rosette. The central plaque has a satin, chased finish with applied foliate detail, while fine granulation and beaded knops lend beautiful texture and depth around the perimeter and surmount.

Wonderfully versatile, it features a hinged fold-down bale for wear as a pendant and original brooch fittings to the reverse. A circular glazed locket back invites you to keep a cherished memento close, completing a piece that marries artistry, symbolism, and the most uplifting blue-and-gold palette.

ERA: Georgian (1714–1837).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 33mm long including bale.
Pendant is 25.5mm wide.
Diamond is 2mm in diameter.
Turquoise graduates from 1mm to 3.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 6.4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Turquoise, Diamond.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Turquoise cabochons are bright and well-matched, and the Diamond accent is lively; all stones appear secure. Gold surfaces, granulation and chased details are crisp with only light surface wear and a warm patina. The glazed locket back shows light scratches/clouding and the pin stem is slightly bent, but fittings remain functional.
