A rare Georgian crowned heart locket in 15ct Gold, romantically framed by a halo of petite pink-red Garnets and crowned with a sparkling coronet. The heart-shaped, clear domed double-sided compartment opens to cradle a tiny keepsake, while the surrounding Garnets lend a delicate glow and unmistakably antique allure.

Hand-crafted c.1780–1790, this petite jewel captures the era’s language of love: the crowned heart symbolising “You are the King/Queen of my Heart”. Subtle two-tone detailing around the stones heightens the old-world charm, and the overall silhouette is as graceful as it is sentimental—an exquisite miniature with a regal flourish.

ERA: Georgian c.1780–1790.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 24mm long x 17mm wide.
Garnets are approx. 1.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 3.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Garnet.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Garnets are bright and securely set with minimal age-related facet wear visible under magnification. The hand-made settings and locket structure are crisp and well-preserved, showing only gentle antique patina.
