MEASUREMENTS: Ring face is 11mm long x 9mm wide.
Natural Sapphire measures 8mm long x 5.5mm wide, weighing approx. 1.50ct.
Diamonds are approx. 1mm in diameter.
Band is 1mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 2.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold with Platinum settings, Natural Sapphire (1.50ct), Diamond.

STAMPS: French eagle head for 18ct Gold.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The gemstones are bright, well-matched and securely set. The band and settings are crisp with minimal wear, retaining their pleasing profile. There are no obvious signs of past resizing.
