A sublime pair of French Napoleon III tassel earrings in 18ct Gold, alive with luxurious movement. From a chased domed cap edged with a fine line of Black Enamel, cascades a fringe of delicate rope-link chains, each finished with a tiny Gold bead. The bicolour palette of Yellow and Rose Gold lends warmth and depth, while slim French hooks keep the silhouette wonderfully wearable.

EXCELLENT: Light age-appropriate surface wear with a gentle antique patina; the tassel chains and bead terminals are complete and articulate smoothly. Black Enamel details remain crisp with only minor rubbing under close inspection. French Eagle stamps are clear on both tassels (on the hasps). Ear wires and connections are in good order with no visible repairs. Please note the wires are also 18ct Gold to match the tassels but are a later addition in our opinion and not original to the earrings.
