A luminous Georgian ring dating to circa 1780 that balances colour and sparkle with effortless poise. At its heart sits a foiled Amethyst of approximately 1.47ct in a traditional closed-back setting, its hot purplish-pink hue beautifully complemented by the delicate twinkle of three foiled rose-cut Diamonds on either side. Crafted in warm 15ct Gold with a slender, graceful band, this piece captures the refined elegance and romantic sensibility of the Georgian era.

The Amethyst displays a vivid, saturated tone enhanced by its original foiling for a deep, luminous glow. The foiled rose-cut Diamonds graduate from approximately 3.7mm to 1.8mm in spread, their domed antique facets catching the light with a soft, scintillating shimmer. Elegant and timeless, this harmonious pairing of colour and fire feels as refined today as it did in the 18th century.

Amethyst measures 7.5mm long x 7mm wide, weighing approx. 1.47ct.
Rose-cut Diamonds range from 3.7mm to 1.8mm in diameter.
Band is 2mm wide at the back.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Amethyst (1.47ct), Rose-Cut Diamond.

EXCELLENT: Amethyst and rose-cut Diamonds are bright with minimal age-related wear visible under magnification; foiling presents beautifully and settings are secure. The 15ct Gold band and closed-back mounts are crisp with only light surface wear commensurate with age. No obvious signs of later repair or alteration.
