A delicate Edwardian Guilloché Enamel locket, its round face adorned with a hand-painted floral wreath of soft pink blossoms and fresh green leaves on a pale cream-mint, engine-turned ground. A glossy black Enamel ring frames the scene with a tiny scroll flourish at 12 o’clock, all set within a smooth Silver bezel and finished with a fixed hasp and jump ring.

The two-part hinged locket opens to reveal a warm 9ct Gold-gilded interior. Refined, romantic and exquisitely detailed, it captures the light with that unmistakable Guilloché shimmer so loved in the early 20th century.

Item Details

ERA: Edwardian (1901–1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 30mm long including jump ring.
Locket itself is 23mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 7.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, 9ct Gold-gilded interior, Enamel.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Guilloché Enamel is glossy and intact with light surface scratches and minor edge wear to the black Enamel border. The Silver shows gentle age-related scuffs and abrasions. The interior photo frames are absent; no obvious chips, cracks or repairs are seen.
