A romantic Edwardian lavalier pendant crafted in 9ct Gold, this piece traces graceful whiplash curves into a delicate openwork heart. Tiny foliate and bead accents add texture and movement, while a lively apple-green Peridot glows at the centre.

Suspended below, a matching articulated drop catches the light with every step, echoing the soft oval lines above. Hand-fabricated details and neat bezel settings with open backs let the stones shine, all finished with a flared fixed bail for an elegantly elongated silhouette.

ERA: Edwardian (1901–1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 50mm long, including bail and drop.
Pendant is 20mm wide.
Central Peridot measures 5mm long x 4mm wide, weighing approx. 0.40ct.
Drop Peridot measures 5mm x 2.5mm, weighing approx. 0.15ct.
Total Peridot weight is approx. 0.55ct.
WEIGHT: 2.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Peridot (0.55ct).

STAMPS: 9CT.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
