Carved from buttery 9ct Gold, this Edwardian locket features a delicate swallow motif, inlaid with lustrous seed Pearls. This little birdy is accented by three dazzling Rubies, each radiating a gorgeous fuchsia hue.

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 29.5mm long, including jump ring.
Locket is 17.5mm wide.
Pearls graduate from 1mm to 1.5mm in diameter.
Rubies are 1mm in diameter.
Weight: 4.1g.

MATERIALS: 9ct Gold back and front, metal frame for strength & durability, Seed Pearls, Rubies.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD. This Edwardian 9ct Gold Pearl and Ruby swallow locket is in very good condition. Each of her gemstones are set securely, and her Gold has retained a lovely sheen. There are some dings on the Gold, expected with age, however this does not affect her functionality as she shuts with a nice 'click'. With a securely soldered jump ring, you can wear her with confidence.
