ERA: Edwardian (1901-1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 35.6mm long, including jump ring.
Locket is 20.5mm wide.
Locket is 5mm deep.
Weight: 3.7g.

MATERIALS: 9ct Gold back & front, metal frames and hinge for strength & durability.

STAMPS: 9CT BACK & FRONT on locket back.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD. This Edwardian 9ct Gold Oval engraved locket is in lovely condition. The engraved and repoussé details have all remained defined, with a blank cartouche allowing for a personal engraving to be added if you wish. There is a dent on one side, but this does not affect the integrity of the piece and it still shuts securely. With both original frames still intact, you can safely place two photographs inside.
