ERA: Edwardian (1901-1909).
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 42mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 35mm long x 16.5mm wide.
Opals are 4.5mm in diameter.
Pearls graduate from 1.5mm to 2mm in diameter.
Weight: 2.3g.
MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Opals, Pearls.
STAMPS: 9CT on back, 9C on bottom of pendant.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: This Edwardian 9ct Gold Opal and Pearl drop pendant is in great condition. The gemstones are radiant and secure in their bezels. There are some signs of wear and discolouration to the Gold settings commensurate with age, though this is only noticeable under close inspection. With a securely soldered jump ring, you can wear this antique Opal pendant with confidence!
