An elegant Edwardian-era necklace featuring two dainty strands of natural Pearls, each subtly graduated and layered to create a delicate, refined effect.

The longest strand measures 15" and the shorter 14", with pearls approximately 1mm wide, exhibiting a soft ivory lustre with peach and silver overtones. The original 9ct Gold barrel clasp adds a touch of rosy warmth, stamped "9CT" and clicks shut securely.

ERA: Edwardian (1901–1909)

MEASUREMENTS: Longest strand is 15" or 38cm long.
Shorter strand is 14" or 35.5cm long.
Pearls are approx. 1mm in diameter.
Weight: 2.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold barrel clasp, Natural Pearls.

STAMPS: "9CT" on barrel clasp.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD – EXCELLENT: All natural Pearls are intact with no damage and only light wear to the nacre, retaining a pretty shimmering ivory with peach and silver overtones. The strands are skillfully threaded with slight graduation, and the original 9ct Gold clasp is fully functional, clicking securely. Given their age and delicacy, occasional wear is advised, avoiding chemicals or perfume to preserve the gems.
