This delicate Edwardian 9ct Gold engraved oval locket will make a sweet addition to your collection. Crafted from rosy 9ct Gold, both sides of this dainty oval locket are adorned with a sweet engraved swallow encircled by floral and bow motifs in quintessential Edwardian style.

She is complete with an ornately crafted bale and opens to reveal two doors, with a gorgeous printed 'To One, I love, Forget me not' backing. This Edwardian locket is a beautiful piece to keep close to your heart!

ERA: Edwardian (1901-1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 35mm long including jump ring.
LOcket itself is 30mm long x 21mm wide.
Weight: 4.7g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold back and front, metal hinge and frames for strength and durability.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: This Edwardian 9ct Gold engraved oval locket is in very good condition. The Gold is radiant and the engraved details are crisp. There are some signs of wear to the Gold, including a patch of discolouration on the back and some light scratches. Closing with a nice 'click' and with a securely soldered jump ring, this antique bird-in-flight locket can be worn with confidence.
