This Edwardian 9ct Gold engraved bird in flight round locket is as pretty as a picture! Intricately engraved with swallows and floral motifs, this antique locket is steeped in romantic sentiment.

ERA: Edwardian (1901-1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 33.5mm long including jump ring.
Locket itself is 25.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 4.9g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold Back & Front, metal frames & hinge for strength & durability.

STAMPS: 9CT FRONT BACK on locket back.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: This Edwardian 9ct Gold engraved bird in flight round locket is in great condition. Her engravings have remained crisp and her Gold bright and buttery. There are some scratches and points of discolouration inside the locket, though this cannot be seen when the locket is worn. With a securely soldered jump ring, this antique locket can be worn with utmost confidence!
