Deep green Bloodstone scattered with rusty-red flecks gives this Edwardian fob one richly patterned face; turn it over and smooth red-brown Carnelian offers a completely different look. A warm 9ct Gold rim brings the two colours together.

Looping curves decorate the bow above the oval centre, with slender supports framing the sides. Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1902, it is a charming little piece to wear on a favourite chain, choosing whichever stone suits the day.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 26mm long including the jump ring and 21mm wide.
Carnelian measures 13mm long and 16mm wide.
Bloodstone measures 13mm long and 16mm wide.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold.

GEMSTONES: Carnelian and Bloodstone.

HALLMARKS: MW&S, 9, 375, Birmingham Anchor and date letter C for 1902.
