A romantic Edwardian treasure, this 9ct Gold drop pendant glows with pretty pink-toned Amethysts and luminous Natural Pearls. Arranged in an elegant girandole formation, the stones cascade in oval, round and pear cuts, their delicate hues enhanced by scalloped bezel settings that lend old-world refinement and gentle sparkle.

Articulated throughout for beautiful movement, each drop sways softly, catching the light with every step. MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 60mm long including chains & jump ring.
Pendant is 24mm wide.
Round Amethysts graduate from 3mm to 4mm in diameter.
Oval Amethysts graduate from 4mm long x 3.5mm wide to 7.5mm long x 5mm wide.
Pear-cut Amethysts graduate from 8mm long x 5mm wide to 9mm long x 6mm wide.
Amethysts weigh approx. 6.10ct combined.
Pearls measure 6mm long x 5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 4.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Amethyst (6.10ct), Natural Pearl.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Amethysts are bright with crisp facets and minimal wear visible under magnification; the Natural Pearls display fine lustre with no obvious nacre loss. The 9ct Gold settings and articulated links are well-preserved with light surface wear and a gentle patina commensurate with age. No evidence of later restoration or alteration observed.
