A wonderfully ornate Edwardian filigree cluster ring, crafted in two-tone 18ct Gold with Platinum settings. The lacy rosette head is edged with fine milgrain, centred by a petite round Diamond and framed by a precise circle of calibré-cut Rubies. An elegant scalloped border glitters with delicate rose-cut Diamonds, with tiny square Ruby accents punctuating the perimeter for a refined, jewel-box finish.

The airy pierced under-gallery and low, wearable profile give this ring its unmistakable period charm. Platinum lends a cool brilliance to the Diamonds and sharpens the crisp detail, while the rich 18ct Gold shank adds warmth—together creating a sophisticated play of colour and light.

MEASUREMENTS: Cluster head is 13.5mm in diameter.
Ring band is 2mm wide at the back.
Rubies graduate from 1mm x 1mm to 2mm x 2mm.
Diamonds graduate from 1mm to 2mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Platinum, Ruby, Diamond.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: All gemstones are present and secure with bright Rubies and lively rose-cut Diamonds; there is some discolouration visible beneath a few Diamonds. The settings and shank are in good order with crisp milgrain and openwork, showing light, even age-related wear. Some darkening and visible solder are noted to the back of the ring face setting, which remains stable and does not affect durability or wear.
