The gemstone’s crisp geometry is softened by a scalloped, openwork halo of twinkling rose-cut Diamonds, creating a delicate, lace-like frame that elevates the Tourmaline’s intense colour.

Hand-finished details abound: scalloped edging, dainty milgrain, and a pierced foliate gallery that lends an airy, refined profile. MEASUREMENTS: Cluster is 16.5mm in diameter,
Tourmaline measures 8mm long x 8mm wide, weighing approx. 2.60ct.
Diamonds measure approx. 1.5mm diameter, weighing approx. 0.15ct combined.
Ring band is 1.5mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Silver Diamond settings, Green Tourmaline (2.60ct), Rose-Cut Diamonds (0.15ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD: The Green Tourmaline is bright with only light surface wear visible under magnification, and the rose-cut Diamonds are securely set in Silver and lively. The settings and shank show fine abrasions consistent with age; there is a neat historic repair to the shank which is stable and well executed. Overall, the ring presents beautifully and has been well cared for.
