A luminous Edwardian drape necklace crafted in richly hued 15ct Gold and set with a joyful medley of gemstones. A vivid green Peridot is framed by cool, sparkling Aquamarines and touches of blush from Pink Tourmalines, with dainty Pearls lending a soft, satiny glow.

The articulated construction gives beautiful movement: scalloped prong-set gems alternate with petite foliate clusters of Pearls, flowing into a graceful central drop. Finely made bar-and-link sections keep the line elegantly slim, finishing with a classic bolt-ring clasp. Romantic, feminine and effortlessly refined, it’s a quintessential Edwardian jewel.

MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 16" (40.5cm) long.
Links are 1.5mm wide.
Central drop is 22mm long.
Peridot measures 7mm in diameter, weighing approx. 1.40ct.
3 x Aquamarines measure 5.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 2.10ct combined.
2 x Pink Tourmalines measure 4mm long x 3mm wide, weighing approx. 0.40ct combined.
Pearls measure 1–1.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 6.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Peridot (1.40ct), Aquamarine (2.10cts), Pink Tourmaline (0.40ct), Pearl.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: Gemstones are bright, well-matched and securely set with no notable chips or abrasions. The Gold shows light, even surface wear and a gentle patina commensurate with age; the settings and links are crisp and well-preserved. The clasp is in good working order, with no visible repairs or alterations.
