Romance of the Edwardian era is captured in this openwork heart pendant, exquisitely crafted in rich 15ct Gold. At its centre rests a luminous oval Opal cabochon, alive with ethereal flashes and framed by a garland of creamy Seed Pearls and graceful foliate scrolls.

A delicate pop of crimson punctuates the design: the upper accent is a Ruby, while the lower is a well-matched red Paste replacement, both bright and neatly set. Refined bead detail and a shapely fixed bail complete this elegant jewel—an effortless touch of antique glamour.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 31mm long inc. bail.
Pendant is 24.5mm wide.
Opal measures 7mm long x 5mm wide, weighing approx. 0.57ct.
WEIGHT: 3.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Natural Solid Opal (0.57ct), Pearl, Ruby, Red Paste.

STAMPS: 15CT stamp on back of pendant.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The Opal is bright with attractive play-of-colour and no obvious chips or cracks; the Seed Pearls are lustrous and well-matched. All stones, including the Ruby and the well-matched red Paste replacement, are secure in their settings with crisp detail. The Gold shows minimal surface wear with a gentle antique patina.
