A sumptuous Early Victorian pendant showcasing a high-domed oval Garnet cabochon glowing deep burgundy to purplish-red. The cabochon is bezel-set in rich 18ct Gold and framed by multiple rows of twisted rope-wire, with a complementary twisted-wire bail for a refined, textural finish.

The reverse reveals a locket-back compartment beneath glass, preserving a carefully arranged lock of rare blonde hair—a poignant Victorian keepsake. Elegant yet intimate, this pendant marries sentiment and craftsmanship in a timeless jewel.

VERY GOOD: The Garnet cabochon shows surface scratches and natural inclusions, with a bright polish retained. No obvious dents, breaks or later repairs, and the piece presents beautifully for its age.
