This exquisite mid-century David Andersen pendant captures the timeless charm of Scandinavian design. Shaped as a delicate pansy, it glows with layers of guilloché Enamel in shimmering lilac and violet, its iridescent petals framed in warm gilded Sterling Silver. MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 38mm long including jump ring.
Pansy itself is 35mm long x 42mm wide.
WEIGHT: 11.7g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver (gilded), Enamel.

STAMPS: DAVID ANDERSEN NORWAY, STERLING 925S

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Enamel displays vibrant colour and high lustre with no chips or cracks visible. The gilded Silver reverse retains a soft patina, consistent with gentle, careful wear. A superbly preserved example of David Andersen craftsmanship.
