This exquisite mid-century pansy pendant showcases the bold colour and craftsmanship that made the David Andersen world-famous. Formed in solid Sterling Silver- (cleverly gilded with Gold on the reverse to avoid tarnishing!), its lifelike petals are painted with layers of translucent Enamel in glowing orange, soft pink and lemon yellow — each shaded by hand to create a luminous, naturalistic finish.

Signed clearly to the reverse for David Andersen Norway, this statement pendant embodies the joyful elegance of Scandinavian design in the 1950s. A wearable work of art from one of Norway’s most celebrated Silversmiths.

MEASUREMENTS: Pansy measures 47mm long x 47mm wide.
WEIGHT: 20g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver (gilded with 9ct Gold on the back), orange , lemon yellow and pastel pink Enamels.

STAMPS: DAVID ANDERSEN NORWAY, STERLING 925S.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Enamel is bright and intact with beautiful iridescence and no visible chips. The gilded Silver retains a warm golden sheen, with minimal wear consistent with age and craftsmanship quality synonymous with David Andersen.
