This dainty Georgian charm is crafted in 18ct Gold and set with a vibrant Purple Paste stone, faceted into the shape of a flower- a stylised pansy, no less! The petals shimmer with a rich, amethyst-like hue, radiating from the centre in a classic antique floral design.

Likely converted from a larger jewel, this petite flower now makes a sweet and wearable charm, full of antique character. Perfect for styling on a bracelet or suspending from a chain, it brings a flash of colour and charm to any antique jewellery collection.

MEASUREMENTS: Charm is 14.5mm long including jump ring.
Charm is 5.5mm wide.
Paste petals measure 6mm long x 3mm wide to 5mm long x 3.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 1.1g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Purple Paste.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

状態

VERY GOOD: The Purple Paste displays a lively colour with only a small surface scratch visible under close inspection. There is some evidence of conversion, but the setting remains strong and secure. The 18ct Gold is sturdy and in very good condition and the original late Georgian locket-back feature is still intact- (a rare thing!) . Overall, this charming historic flower is a delight to behold, and is ready to wear.
