Item Details

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 20" or 51cm long.
Shells graduate from 6mm long x 5mm wide to 10.5mm long x 6mm wide.
Barrel clasp is 15mm long.
WEIGHT: 17.5g.

MATERIALS: Tasmanian Maireener Shell, Metal Clasp.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: Some small holes are visible in a few of the shells, which is typical and understandable given their age and delicacy. The necklace remains securely strung and presents beautifully overall.
