MEASUREMENTS: Star Sapphire is 7mm in diameter, weighing approx. 2.50ct.
Ring band is 4mm wide.
Weight: 5.4g

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, 2.50ct Star Sapphire (Natural with no evidence of heat treatment).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: This chunky antique 18ct Gold Star Sapphire ring is in fabulous condition. The Star Sapphire is smoothly domed and securely held within its bezel setting. There is a minor crack on the Sapphire, but this is barely noticeable and can easily be forgiven, especially when considering her grand age. There does appear to be a repair behind the gemstone setting on the inside of the band, which cannot be seen when the ring is worn and does not impact the integrity of the piece. The 18ct Gold is saturated and smooth throughout, providing robust and comfortable wear. With proper care, this Victorian Sapphire ring can be cherished for generations to come!
