Ring band is 1.5mm wide at the back.
Garnet measures 10mm long x 7.5mm wide x 4.5mm deep, weighing approx. 2.22ct.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Garnet (2.22ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Garnet cabochon is bright and smooth with only light surface wear and fine naturalistic abrasions visible under close inspection. The 18ct Gold setting, beaded border, and split shoulders are secure and well-preserved with gentle wear to the high points. No visible resizing or restoration marks.
