This antique Edwardian locket has a bold, puffy profile that gleams in bright yellow 9ct Gold. The diagonal design is particularly eye-catching, with one half plain polished and the other half hand-engraved with elegant scrolls and flowers.

Stamped “9CT BACK & FRONT”, this locket retains both of its original frames and closes with a satisfying click. A superb example of early 20th-century design, it makes a beautiful keepsake piece to hold treasured photographs close to your heart.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The locket is in wonderful condition with no dings or damage. The hand engraving remains crisp, the puffy profile is well-preserved, and both frames are present and intact. The hinge is strong, and it closes securely with a firm click.
