A romantic Edwardian fringe necklace alive with movement and light, this articulated lavalier is set with a luminous suite of vivid purple Amethysts in scalloped settings. Delicate foliate scroll connectors and tiny trefoils of cream seed-pearls punctuate the design, giving a soft glow that complements the warm 9ct Gold beautifully.

The graduated girandole silhouette drapes gracefully and dances with every step, its Amethysts totalling approximately 16.00cts for an opulent splash of colour. Ornate yet wonderfully wearable, it’s an elegant piece that transitions effortlessly from day to evening.

Total Amethyst weight is approx. 16.00ct.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Amethyst (16.00ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Amethysts are bright with crisp facets and no obvious chips or abrasions visible, retaining rich colour and sparkle. The Gold settings and articulated links are secure with only light surface wear and a gentle patina. Seed-pearls are present and well-set; no visible repairs or alterations.
