Lavishly ornate and richly romantic, this Austro-Hungarian locket is crafted in Gilded Silver and paved with luminous foiled Amethysts and petite Pearls. A tapestry of chased foliate scrolls, scalloped collets and tiny bead accents creates beautiful depth, while the warm gilt plays against the cooler Silver tones for an opulent two-tone glow.

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 40mm long including jump ring.
Locket is 24mm wide.
Amethysts measure 5mm in diameter.
Pearls measure 2mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 11.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Gilded Silver, Amethyst, Pearl.

STAMPS: Stamped '13' on hasp.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: Amethysts and Pearls are in excellent condition with no chips or damage noted. The decorative settings and surfaces are well preserved with minimal age-related wear. The locket opens and closes properly; the fit is not perfectly flush but closes securely.
