Hand-wrought in the Arts & Crafts tradition, this romantic pendant is a lacework of sinuous scrolls and tender heart-like curls, all crafted in warm 9ct Gold. Five luminous Moonstone cabochons nestle in rubbed-over bezels, their translucent bodies coming alive with soft bluish-white glow as they move.

The openwork design feels airy and artisanal, with subtle irregularities that speak to its handmade origins. A simple jump-ring bail completes the piece, while the closed-back settings and gentle patina add depth and old-world charm.

Item Details

ERA: Arts and Crafts (1880–1920).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 37mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 35mm long x 28mm wide.
Central Moonstone measures 10mm long x 8mm wide, weighing approx. 1.46ct.
4 x Moonstones measure 8mm long x 5.5mm wide, weighing approx. 1.37ct combined.
Total Moonstone weight is approx. 2.83ct.
WEIGHT: 7.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Foiled Moonstone (2.83ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Moonstones are bright with minor surface abrasions visible under magnification only. The hand-fabricated Gold framework and rubbed-over settings are secure with light surface wear and fine file marks to the reverse commensurate with age. No visible repairs or alterations; well cared for overall.
