A highly decorative Art Nouveau Sterling Silver medallion dated 1901, this pendant captures a long‑tailed Phoenix in flight amid blossom sprays, framed by a softly scalloped border. The relief is beautifully crisp, with a darkened patina settling into the recesses to accentuate every feather and petal. It’s finished with a 9ct Gold jump ring for a subtle mixed‑metal touch.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 28mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 22.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 3.4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, 9ct Gold jump ring.

HALLMARKS: JG maker’s mark, Birmingham Anchor, date letter b for 1901.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Silver relief remains crisp with attractive patina in the recesses and only light surface wear to the high points, consistent with age. No dents, splits or damage observed; the reverse shows gentle age‑related wear with subtle solder traces near the bail. Overall beautifully preserved and ready to wear.
