This romantic Arts & Crafts ring swirls with organic charm, centring a luminous 3.42ct oval Opal bezel-set to showcase its vibrant play-of-colour. Flashes of green, aqua, blue and warm golden tones dance across the cabochon, framed by sinuous foliate shoulders with delicate flowers, scalloped edges and tiny granule accents.

Opal measures 15mm x 11.5mm, weighing approx. 3.42ct.
Band is 2mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 5.1g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, Natural Solid Opal (3.42ct).

STAMPS: Silver.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Opal is smooth and glossy with lively internal colour and no chips or cracks observed. The bezel and decorative shoulders are crisp and secure with only light surface wear and purposeful patina in the recesses. The shank is strong with minimal signs of wear and no evidence of later repairs or resizing.
