MEASUREMENTS: Eagle is 57mm long x 28.5mm wide.
Weight: 5.6g.

MATERIALS: Gold Fix, Garnet Drop.

STAMPS: Oria on back of brooch (Oria is a company that specialises in high-quality rolled Gold jewellery)
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

EXCELLENT. An excellently presented Art Nouveau French Gold fix eagle brooch with Garnet drop. This brooch is incredibly alluring, and has very little sign of wear. The brooch has been beautifully formed, and its c-clasp and pin work perfectly in harmony together. The dainty Garnet makes for a classy pop of colour.
