This Art Nouveau pendant is all about movement and colour. A freeform Boulder Opal shimmers with electric blue and teal flashes, cradled in a flowing 18ct Gold ribbon that sweeps asymmetrically around the stone. The sinuous, organic lines and sculptural feel are quintessentially of the era, while the high-polish Gold contrasts beautifully with a nugget-textured panel for added depth.

The Opal is secured with a refined partial rub-over and a neat top claw, allowing the cabochon’s natural contours and play-of-colour to take centre stage. Elegant, tactile and effortlessly wearable, it’s a striking one-of-a-kind jewel that brings the romance of Art Nouveau into the everyday.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 27mm long x 12mm wide.
WEIGHT: 3.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Opal.

STAMPS: Stamped 18k.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Opal is smooth and glossy with no visible chips or cracks, showing vibrant play-of-colour. The 18ct Gold setting is bright with a high polish and only minimal surface wear consistent with age. All components are secure with no signs of repair or alteration.
