A romantic Art Nouveau treasure in 15ct Gold, this convertible pendant brooch marries flowing openwork scrolls with a luminous palette of Pearls and Turquoise. A vivid round Turquoise sits at the heart, its colour echoed by an articulated oval Turquoise drop below, while rows of creamy Seed Pearls trace every graceful curve and foliate flourish.

Beautifully detailed and wonderfully versatile, it can be worn as a brooch via the hinged pin and catch, or as a pendant using the detachable bail. ERA: Art Nouveau (1890–1910).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant brooch is 53mm long including bail.
Pendant brooch is 33mm wide.
Pearls graduate from 0.5mm to 2.5mm in diameter.
Round Turquoise cabochon measures 4.5mm in diameter.
Oval Turquoise cabochon measures 5mm long x 3mm wide.
WEIGHT: 7g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Pearl, Turquoise.

STAMPS: 15ct.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: Pearls are bright and well-matched with no obvious losses, and the Turquoise cabochons are smooth and secure in their settings. The Gold shows only light surface wear consistent with age, with crisp openwork and a pleasing patina in the recesses. The detachable bail, hinge and pin/catch are in excellent working order.
