Shaped by the sinuous lines of Art Nouveau, this high-carat 14ct Gold brooch centres on a softly sculpted blossom, its petals alive with translucent shaded Enamel that drifts from blush-pink to golden peach. At the heart, a delicate Pearl lends a luminous focal point, framed by flowing openwork with graceful whiplash curves.

Dating to circa 1910, it’s a petite jewel with exquisite detail and a romantic, organic feel—beautiful pinned to a lapel, silk scarf or knit. A charming example of the era’s love of nature, light and movement, crafted in precious Gold with enchanting Enamel artistry.

ERA: Art Nouveau, c.1910.

MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 23mm long x 27.5mm wide.
Pearl is 2.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 2.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 14ct Gold, Enamel, Pearl.

STAMPS: 14K on brooch clasp.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The shaded Enamel is intact and glossy with no visible losses; the Pearl is smooth, lustrous and securely set. The Gold shows only light surface wear and a warm patina in keeping with age, with the openwork frame and fittings in good order. No obvious repairs or alterations observed.
