Shimmering with electric blue and teal iridescence, this Art Deco Silver pendant showcases a genuine Morpho butterfly wing beneath a domed resin cover. The elongated oval is framed by a knopped, beaded border that catches the light beautifully, while a sweet five‑petal flower crowns the fixed bail for a delicate botanical flourish.

Deco lines meet natural wonder here: the closed‑back Silver collet deepens the luminous hues, revealing striated flashes of cobalt, teal and hints of violet as the pendant moves. Bold yet refined, it’s a striking vintage jewel with a softly romantic finish at the bale—ready to add a glow of colour to every look.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 51mm long including bail.
Pendant is 18.5mm wide.
Flower motif measures 7mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 8.9g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, Morpho Butterfly Wing.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The butterfly wing presents vibrant colour with no losses, and the resin cover shows only light surface scratches visible under magnification. The Silver mount has a gentle, even patina with light surface marks commensurate with age; the back is clean with minor rubbing.
