Alive with Art Deco Egyptian Revival allure, this jewel centres a hand-carved Faience scarab that spins within a scalloped openwork frame. Bright cobalt blue and red Enamel leaves bring vivid colour and graphic geometry, their recessed panels gleaming against the warm Gilded Silver.

Beautifully made with a smooth spinner mechanism and a neat jump ring for pendant wear, this is a charming, wearable talisman with striking Deco lines and a splash of saturated Enamel colour.

Beautifully made with a smooth spinner mechanism and a neat jump ring for pendant wear, this is a charming, wearable talisman with striking Deco lines and a splash of saturated Enamel colour.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 30mm long including jump ring.
Pendant is 27mm wide.
Scarab measures 14mm long x 16mm wide.
WEIGHT: 5.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, Gilded finish, Enamel, Faience carved stone scarab.

STAMPS: 800.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: Enamel is bright and intact with no losses, and the carved scarab spins freely and securely within the frame. The metalwork is crisp with only light, sympathetic surface wear consistent with age, and the jump ring is sound. A well-cared-for piece that presents beautifully and wears with confidence.
