Attributed to the renowned jeweller Thomas Mott, this is a special Art Deco Silver butterfly wing tropical scene pendant. This pendant contains a precious Morpho butterfly wing, boasting a beautiful blue luminescence that shimmers in the light.

Beautifully smooth, she depicts a tropical beach setting which makes us want to crawl inside! We love the vibrant colours encased within this Art Deco pendant, she really is a standout piece. ERA: Art Deco (1920-1939).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 39.5mm long x 18mm wide.
Weight: 4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, Butterfly Wing.

STAMPS: TLM STERLING ENGLAND on back
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: The tropical beach detailing is crisp and the butterfly wing has retained its neon hues. The grooves have accrued a patina, adding to her antique charm. On the back, there is a maker's mark stamp for Thomas Mott which has worn slightly but is still legible. You'll want to suspend her from a chain as soon as she's yours!
